Sixteenth Street Capital began with a gap. The markets Rashmi knew best, India and Southeast Asia, were rich with long-term investment opportunity, yet patient capital with genuine depth in these economies was rare. She had spent years embedded in them, building the relationships and understanding that most investors build from a distance. In 2017 Rashmi founded the firm to close that gap.
